One pattern weโve noticed in organizations is that some of the most important workplace issues arenโt hidden at all.
People can often see the tension, sense the shift, or recognize the behavior long before it becomes part of any formal conversation.
The issue is that noticing something and naming it are two very different things.
A team may privately understand that trust is slipping, that a decision isnโt landing well, that a leaderโs message created confusion, or that people are no longer saying what they really think. But inside the meeting, the room can still appear calm, polite, and aligned.

When concerns donโt feel safe, useful, or welcome to surface, they donโt disappear. They move somewhere else. They show up in side conversations, private messages, quiet frustration, reduced participation, and the slow normalization of things everyone can see but no one wants to be responsible for saying out loud.
Shared awareness isnโt the same as shared visibility.
